Incense As Sensory Commodity: A Workshop & Teach-In by Kudzu Club
As care becomes increasingly threatened, commodified, and atomized, we must learn ways resist and build communal care and craft. This workshop + teach-in, led by Kudzu Club, will provide hands-on instructions so you are able to make your own incense (with your own preferred scent profile!). We will also discuss the history of Asian incense culture, sensory capitalism, the commodification of self-care, and the importance of delayed gratification.
Follow Kudzu Club here.
All proceeds to Kudzu Club will be donated to the Delaney Hall Emergency Support Fund
